Purpose of Workflow:

This workflow is designed to create an AI-powered news reporter agent that automatically tracks specific news events and sends summary emails to the user. It helps users stay updated on topics of interest without manually monitoring multiple news sources, making it especially beneficial for investors or researchers needing timely updates on events impacting their work or investments.

How It Works:

The workflow utilizes large language models from Perplexity (perplexity.ai), accessible via Open Router (openrouter.ai), to process and summarize current news. Scheduled to run at set intervals, such as daily at 7 AM, the workflow scans for news on the specified topic, generates a summary, and emails it to the user.

Setup:

Sign up and generate an API key from Openrouter.ai to access Perplexity's online language models.
Add the API key from Openrouter.ai to the Perplexity node.
Specify the event or topic to monitor in the News Reporter node.
Activate the workflow to enable the scheduled updates feature.
