Workflow Overview
- Fetches the daily top podcasts of a specified genre
- Generates a concise summary for each podcast episode
- Emails the summaries along with direct links to each podcast in a formatted message
Setup Instructions
- Create a free API key on Taddy here: https://taddy.org/signup/developers
- Input your user number and API key in the
TaddyTopDailynode under the header parameters X-USER-ID and X-API-KEY, respectively. - Generate Gmail access credentials as outlined here: https://developers.google.com/workspace/guides/create-credentials. Use the credentials from your client_secret.json in the
Gmailnode. - Specify the genre for podcast summaries in the
Genrenode. Options include: TECHNOLOGY, NEWS, ARTS, COMEDY, SPORTS, FICTION, etc. See the full list at api.taddy.org (look for genres listed as PODCASTSERIES_TECHNOLOGY, PODCASTSERIES_NEWS, etc.). - Enter your email address in the
Gmailnode. - Adjust the
Schedulenode to set the preferred time to receive the daily email.
Testing
- Run the "Test Workflow" function.
- Check your email for the podcast summaries.
That’s it! Setup should take less than 5 minutes in total.
