This workflow enables you to interact with data in a Google Sheet through a chat interface, using rantir's built-in chat feature. It can also be adapted for Slack, Teams, WhatsApp, and similar platforms.
The workflow leverages GPT-4, so you'll need an OpenAI API key that supports it.
How It Works
An AI agent with custom tools powers the workflow, calling a sub-workflow that reads data from the Google Sheet and returns relevant information.
Due to the context window limitations of language models, large Google Sheets cannot be passed in full to GPT. Instead, the workflow uses three query functions to work with smaller data segments, which can be combined to answer questions:
- List all columns in the sheet
- Retrieve all values from a specific column
- Retrieve all values from a specific row
Note: To use this template, you must be on rantir version 1.19.4 or later.
